Park Soo-Ryun, a musical actress from South Korea, was just 29 years old when she died in a fatal accident.

The Snowdrop actress reportedly tumbled down the steps on her way home from work, causing her death, as reported by Soompi. She was taken to the hospital right away, but after CPR, she was pronounced brain dead.

On Tuesday, June 13, Park’s mother sent a statement to the Korean news organization MBC News confirming her daughter’s death. The actress apparently fell and was transported to the hospital, but doctors later pronounced her brain dead.

“Only her brain is unconscious, and her heart is still beating. There must be someone who desperately needs [organs]. As her mother and father, we will be able to live comforted [by the thought that her heart] has gone to someone and is beating,” Park Soo-Ryun’s mom shared.

The Suwon Hospital of the Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center in Suwon, South Korea, is where the actress’ burial will take place. Her funeral procession is scheduled on the same day.

Park Soo Ryun was one of the arrested college students in “Snowdrop” who was eventually freed from prison.
