Television and Production Exponents Inc (TAPE) allegedly considered removing actor-comedian Paolo Ballesteros because of his “kabaklaan.”

Cristy Fermin also supported Paolo Ballesteros. The showbiz vlogger didn’t like the TAPE’s declared righteousness that Paolo just knew about homosexuality, therefore they sought to remove him off the oldest noontime show.

“Eh nung panahon, kasagsagan ng AlDub, sino ba ang bumuhay dun sa Kalyeserye ‘di ba? Sino-sino ang mga lola?”  Cristy referred to the characters of Lola Nidora, Lola Tinidora, and Lola Tidora, who were performed by Wally Bayola, Jose Manalo, and Paolo, respectively.

“At saka ano ‘yung hanggang pa-make up, make up lang daw si Paolo Ballesteros? Yaman po ng mundo ng sining ang kahusayan ni Paolo sa pagmi-make up na kaya niyang plakaduhin kahit sinong international star,” she explained on her vlog.

Rommel Chika said Paolo is also good at making netizens laugh. “Yung kabaklaan pong sinasabi ninyo, ‘yun po ang isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit umangat nang umangat ang ratings ng Eat Bulaga,” Cristy explained.
