Ai-Ai delas Alas, the Queen of Comedy, offered her support for comedian-host Betong Sumaya when he was named one of the new hosts of TAPE Inc’s Eat Bulaga.
On June 5, Betong, Paolo Contis, and Buboy Villar took over as hosts of the Kapuso noontime show.
In an latest Instagram post, Ai-Ai delas Alas expressed her support for Betong Sumaya. The Comedy Concert Queen stated that she noticed Betong looked to be sad on TikTok.
Ai-Ai stated that she respects Betong’s current situation as an employee who must obey his boss’s demands.
“Mabait kang tao , ma respeto sa senior sa yo.. isa ka sa mabait na artist na nakilala ko .. dasal lang at tibayan mo ang loob mo,” she told Betong.
She further reminded the comedian-host that whenever he is frustrated, he recalls of the song New York Rio Tokyo and how they would sing it without mispronouncing the lyrics.
“God bless you ipag patuloy mo lang na maging mabait si Lord ang bahala,” Ai-Ai delas Alas remarked.
