On Wednesday, June 7, the JC De Vera revealed that he and his wife Rikkah Cruz had welcomed a daughter called Laura.

On his Instagram account, he posted a photo of him holding his daughter.

“Dear Laura, Welcome to this world! You have been born into a world filled with endless possibilities, and I am so excited to see all that you will achieve in your lifetime. We are overjoyed to have you in our lives, our love for you will only continue to grow stronger with every passing day. I can’t wait to see the great things you will accomplish in your life, Laura. We love you ❤️” he said, beside a picture of himself holding the infant in black and white. The words “girl dad” were also scrawled on the photo.

JC and Rikkah secretly wed in a civil ceremony in 2018, but JC kept it from anybody about it until an interview in March of 2021. In September of 2021, they were married once again in a religious ceremony.

The couple had their first born five years ago, named Lana Athena.
