It’s Showtime hosts Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis received criticism by SB19 supporters for their comments on the group’s song “Gento.”

Vice and Anne were criticized by P-pop boyband supporters for making remarks on the show regarding the band’s blockbuster song “Gento,” which was not permitted to be played due to the hosts of the noontime show stating on the latest broadcast that their song was not permitted to be aired.

Jhong Hilario asked the participant what he wanted to dance to during a portion of the show. “Gento,” the participant replied. “Bawal na daw,” Vice explained, explaining that they charge a fee for their songs to be played.

“Ay talaga? May ganoon pala. Hindi ba good promo yan for the industry. Sayang,” Anne said. “Ayaw n’yong try ‘Rampa’ na lang?” Vice recommends to the show’s participant.

SB19 Ati’n members instantly responded, stating that as a result of what Vice and Anne stated, the boy band now seems to be like money. Netizens are seeking clarification from the hosts of It’s Showtime.
