Typhoon Chedeng, according to the state weather bureau PAGASA, may deliver rain to several portions of the Philippines.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration issued the most recent weather report in the country on Friday, June 9, 2023. Typhoon Chedeng will have an impact on the weather in the whole country.
Typhoon Chedeng was last seen 875 kilometers east of Central Luzon, according to PAGASA. It has sustained winds of up to 130 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 160 kilometers per hour.
Chedeng may deliver significant rainfall to the country in the following three to five days. It is likely to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
The southwest monsoon, also known as habagat in Palawan, will bring overcast weather with occasional rain showers and thunderstorms.
Habagat and localized thunderstorms will bring partly overcast to cloudy weather conditions with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms across Metro Manila and the rest of the Philippines.
