ABS-CBN ceased transmitting in 2020 after receiving a cease-and-desist order from the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC). Because of the closure, 11,000 people lost their jobs in the media.
Many netizens look back ever since ABS-CBN was forced to shut down due to the franchise issue. Netizens still think ABS-CBN is the best network and wish them more power.
Some of the netizens wish they could return to the way they were before in television since not everyone can afford the internet. At the same time, others think that ABS-CBN only got what it deserved since they were not abiding by the laws.
