One of the accused has identified the congressman as the mastermind behind the ass@ssination of Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo.
Joric Labrador, a former army officer; Joven Aber, a former army ranger; and a certain Benjie Rodriguez were detained in the kiling of Degamo. Authorities think that at least eight (8) other suspects are still at large on the island of Negros.
The three (3) suspects presently in the detention of the Philippine National Police (PNP) were transported from Camp Crame to the PNP Custodial Center earlier today.
One of the suspects alleged in an ambush interview that Congressman Arnie Teves is the mastermind behind Degamo’s de@th. According to the suspects, they are willing to help with the investigation. The two alleged that they are currently in a dangerous situation since their security and lives are in danger.
