Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. gets gallbladder surgery after consuming too much oil and “chicharon bulaklak.”
The senator announced recently that he had a laparoscopy to remove gall bladder stones. Revilla said on Facebook that he underwent surgery at St. Luke Medical Center in Taguig City on Monday, March 27.
Just after successful operation, Revilla smiled while lying down and stated, “I’m A-OK. I will do some shadowboxing tomorrow.” He is happy that he still has the “agimat,” or talisman, that allows him to go through the medical treatment.
Lani Mercado Revilla, Cavite Rep., was at his side in the hospital. He maintained that he had no intention of making his health condition known. When he was diagnosed with COVID-19, Revilla had to utilize a spirometer for his breathing exercise once.
“Thank you, Lord, nairaos po nang matagumpay ang aking gall bladder removal at ngayon po ay palabas na ako ng ospital Salamat din po sa walang patid na pag-aalaga ng mga doktor, nurses at lahat ng hospital staff, gayundin sa inyong mga nagdasal para sa akin God is good! Take care, everyone! Love you all! ” he stated on a live video.
