The BAFTA film awards, also known as the British Academy Film Awards, are annual awards presented by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) to recognize outstanding achievements in the film industry.

The awards are presented in several categories, including best film, best director, best actor, and best actress, among others. The ceremony is one of the most prestigious film awards events in the world and is held annually in London, England.

The awards are often considered a predictor of success at other major film awards ceremonies, such as the Academy Awards (Oscars).

BAFTA Award 2023 will take place on 19 February at London’s Southbank Centre.
