The opportunity to be a show commentator in Miss Universe 2022 was turned down by the King of Talk.

The 71st Miss Universe pageant will be place on January 14, 2023, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA (January 15, 2023 in the Philippines).

MUO executives observed and loved Boy’s hosting job at an event in New York City, according to a Cabinet Files source, so they called the multi-awarded Filipino host in November 2022 to offer him to be a show commentator for the 71st Miss Universe.

Because the news was officially verified on December 7, 2022, MUO had not yet declared that Steve Harvey will no longer host the Miss Universe 2022 coronation night.

The Miss Universe Organization is aware with Boy’s body of work because of his exceptional interviews with numerous people on his TV shows, and Miss Universe winners Pia Wurtzbach (2015) and Catriona Gray (2016) are fans of his work (2018).

Pia and Catriona were among those who Boy taught and refined in public speaking and the proper method to answer the question-and-answer portion before they entered and won Miss Universe.

If Boy had accepted the Miss Universe Organization’s invitation, he would have been the only man among the all-female hosts, who featured Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo, Emmy-winning television personality Jeannie Mai-Jenkins, backstage emcee Catriona, and Access Hollywood contributor Zuri Hall.

Apparently, King of Talk Boy Abunda has yet to issue a statement explaining why he rejected the MOU offer.
