The actor resorted to social media to vent his disgust with the expensive expense of a lunch at a seafood restaurant. In a video that he published on Instagram, Dennis couldn’t help but show his dismay toward Aling Mahrya, a seafood restaurant located in Seaside, Pasay City. In the first portion of the video, Dennis mentioned that they bought a mango shake in the restaurant that cost P450, while the lobster is being offered for P5500 per kg.
He went to the seafood restaurant with his “balikbayan” best buddy and five other individuals, according to him. Instead of a great encounter, they were profoundly dissatisfied.
Dennis used to dine at high-end restaurants, but the experience at Aling Mahrya was “too much” for him. Their bill from the stated establishment was around P38,000. He expressed sorrow for his closest buddy, who had paid for their supper.
Dennis Padilla requested that the Department of Tourism investigate the Seaside establishments in the final segment of his film. His tweet went viral, garnering conflicting comments from netizens, with actor-comedian Janno Gibbs among those who replied. He commented in the comments section:
“Grabe nmn presyo!”
However, the seller denied any overpricing. The harm has been done, it appears. The local government unit has halted all tourism activity on the island, and the booths have been removed.
