Jin from BTS will make his official solo debut with “The Astronaut.”

The cinematic logo trailer portrays an astronaut flying through space, which is enough to entice fans’ attention and get them excited about the song’s plot.

BigHit Music confirmed in a Weverse announcement that the BTS vocalist’s first official solo single and music video will be released on October 28 at 12 p.m. (Philippine Standard Time)

“Since it’s a song made with so much love toward the fans, we hope ‘The Astronaut’ can be a gift to all of you,” the label said.

The release dates for posters, concept photos, teasers, and the lyric video have also been revealed.

“Please show a lot of anticipation and support for this promotion, where you can meet various sides of Jin,” BigHit said.

Jin announced his intention to release a solo single at the group’s Busan concert.

Coldplay reportedly gave him the song, but neither BTS nor the rock band confirmed the report.
