Sunshine Cruz has slammed false reports that she and her ex-husband Cesar Montano have rekindled their romance.

Cruz stated on Facebook that rumors that she is pregnant and planning to remarry Montano are “fake news.”

“FAKE NEWS! I’ve been sent a few videos about this fake news spreading and nagtataka nga ako na may mga bumabati at congratulate sa ‘kin,” she posted.

“Since meron pa ring napapaniwala and as respect sa partner at bagong pamilya ni Cesar, gusto ko sabihin na wala pong katotohanang buntis ako at magpapakasal sa aking ex-husband,” she continued.

Cruz and Montano reconnected last August when the actor attended the 18th birthday party for their second daughter, Sam.

Angelina and Chesca are their other daughters. On September 18, 2018, their marriage was declared null and void.

The former couple also posed for a full family photo with their three daughters, which has been unusual since their divorce.

Cruz and Montano’s partners, Macky Mathay and Kath Angeles, were also present at the time.

Cruz and Mathay were the subject of breakup rumors last month after eagle-eyed netizens noticed the two were no longer following each other on Instagram.

Cruz also left a cryptic message on her Instagram page after rumors of her divorce from Mathay began to circulate.
