PAGASA Weather Updates of Tropical Depression “MAYMAY” October 12, 2022

The PAGASA release statement that Tropical Depression “MayMay” is now moving westward while maintaining its strength. The center of Tropical Depression “MAYMAY” was estimated based on all available data at 180 km East of Casiguran, Aurora (16.3°N, 123.8°E).

The intensity has maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 55 km/h, and a central pressure of 1004 hPa. Strong winds extend outwards up to 180 km from the center.

LUZON:

The eastern portion of Isabela (San Mariano, Dinapigue, San Guillermo, San Pablo, Ilagan City, Benito Soliven, San Agustin, Palanan, Divilacan, Jones, Maconacon, Tumauini, Echague, Cabagan), the eastern portion of Quirino (Maddela, Nagtipunan, Aglipay, Saguday), and the northern portion of Aurora (Casiguran, Dinalungan, Dilasag, Dipaculao).

Today through tomorrow early morning, moderate to heavy with at times intense rains over Cagayan, the northern portion of Isabela, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, and Ifugao. Light to moderate with at times heavy rains over Ilocos Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region.
