TV host and actor Vhong Navarro’s heart is heavy after the issue of his alleged r*pe of former model Deniece Cornejo in 2014 was revived. In the actor’s defense, all the allegations against him are untrue.

Navarro surrenders to the National Bureau of Investigation and posts bail. This is after the Taguig Metropolitan Court issued an arrest warrant against him due to the case of acts of lasciviousness filed by Cornejo.

“[A]lam nating hindi totoo ‘yung alegasyon… Lumabas na ‘yung mga CCTV footages kung saan napakita na wala pang isang minuto mula nung lumabas sa elevator si Mr. Navarro ay pumasok naman si Ms. Deniece Cornejo sa elevator. Nakangiti siya, she was prinning at herself, at her reflection in the elevator, she was very calm, at in fact ‘yung mga iba pang CCTV footages magpapakita na may kinausap pa siyang mga security guards at wala siyang reklamong sinabing ni-rape siya,”according to Atty. Alma Malongga.

Recommended bail is set at ₱36,000.
