The Script has returned to Manila!

The Irish pop-rock group arrived ahead of their Friday performance at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The sold-out, one-night-only performance is part of their Greatest Hits Tour, as well as a promotion for their compilation CD “Tales from the Script.”

The Script has had multiple performances in Manila. They were last in town in 2018 in promotion of their album “Freedom Child.”

The Script’s iconic songs include “Breakeven,” “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved,” and “For the First Time.”

The music of The Script has been heard on TV shows such as 90210, Ghost Whisperer, The Hills, Waterloo Road, EastEnders, Made in Chelsea, and The Vampire Diaries. Danny O’Donoghue, the band’s frontman, was also a coach on The Voice UK for seasons 1 and 2, before leaving the show to devote more time to the band.

The band has garnered three Meteor Ireland Music Awards, two World Music Awards, and two Brit Award nominations. The Script’s albums have sold over 20 million copies globally.
