Actor Zanjoe Marudo was lauded by his colleague Star Magic stars and Kapamilya directors.

Star Magic previously published a video highlighting the kind terms he obtained from his former co-stars and directors who worked with him on multiple works.

Zanjoe Marudo is a best buddy Angelica Panganiban can turn to when “ubos na ubos na ako literal sa lahat ng bagay.”

Bela Padilla, an actress, stated that she and Zanjoe clicked because the actor is indeed very down-to-earth. They are both “makaluma” as well.

According to director Cathy Garcia-Molina, the actor is a “good soul.” “Zanjoe never made me feel na artista ako.”

“He was never like that to my crew to whomever. Z never sees himself as a star. He kept his foot on the ground,”  “Cathy, Direk, stated.

What tends to make Zanjoe a fantastic actor, according to director Ted Boborol, is that he is not “alagain” because he studies his scripts and his character.

Direk FM Reyes also praised the actor, saying, “What I immediately noticed sa kanya napaka-real niyang umarte. Strangely for somebody new, parang buo ang loob niya sa ginagawa niya.”

Direk Ruel Bayani recalled a scene in the film One More Try starring Zanjoe Marudo, Dingdong Dantes, and Angel Locsin. “I remembered in one scene ‘yung intercut nung nagla-lovemaking si Dingdong (Dantes) at Angel (Locsin) at umiinom siya (si Zanjoe) mag-isa. I can not forget that scene, ang galing-galing niya ng long take na ‘yon. It so happened na intercut lang ‘yon, but I said ‘wow,’” the director described.

Direk Ruel went on to say that is why Star Cinema gave Zanjoe so much big projects. Jodi Sta., Piolo Pascual Maria and Angel Locsin both praised Zanjoe as an actor.
