The actress-politician’s home in Malabon was robbed.

The incident occurred on Friday, July 8, according to the Daily Tribune.

Angelika got a déath thréat as well as four bullets in the past month.

Furthermore, Angelika, full name Maria Lourdes Egger dela Cruz-Casareo, is an actress-singer-turned-politician.

She began as an actress at the age of seven in the 1988 film Nagbabagang Luha.

According to the report of the barangay tanod, or village watchman, the event occurred at about 2:30 a.m. inside Angelika’s residence in Sitio Pinagsabugan, Barangay Longos.

Mika dela Cruz, luckily, remained awake at the time. Steven Ramos of Navotas was identified as the suspect.

The burglar attempted to rob a nearby room.

Mika returned to her bedroom and contacted the authorities. The suspect was later caught.

Angelika verified the news herself.

Angelika is the current barangay captain of Barangay Longos in the aforementioned city.

The actress-turned-politician thanked the barangay tanods and police officers for responding quickly and detaining the suspect.

She was also relieved that no one in her family had been harmed in the suspected crime.

“Sa mga nagtatanong po totoo po yan .. nagpapasalamat po ako sa mga Tanod ng Barangay Longos at mga pulis sa agarang responde at nahuli po ang tao. Salamat din po sa Diyos at walang nangyaring masama sa Mommy ko at kay Mika,” Angelika stated.
