RR Enriquez, a dancer and social media celebrity, expressed his opinion over the decision to cast Jane de Leon as the famous Pinay superhero Darna in the series.

In a previous Instagram post, RR expressed her opinion of the lead character.

The former Wowowin dancer posted a screenshot of an article that included seasoned entertainment journalist Cristy Fermin’s criticism of Jane de Leon.

The highly anticipated fantasy-drama series’ official trailer was recently published by ABS-CBN. This series’ launch has long been anticipated by viewers, but several difficulties have occurred, particularly during the pandemic.

RR concurred with the entertainment writer’s claim that Jane is “mahina ang dating,” which was what Cristy assumed from the headline. The dancer remarked, “Ok mag aagree ako dito kay Nay Cristy.” 

“Napanood ko din yung trailer. Wala ako nakitang special sa kanya. Walang kilabot or tindig ng balahibo,” RR satetd. Jane doesn’t have “oozing” appeal for her.

Furthermore, according to RR, there are people who are “chararat” but radiate attractiveness. She used even herself as an illustration. 

Iza Calsado was “parang mas panalo pa” when she was “nag Darna sa truth salad,” she continued. 

Iza plays the part of Darna, who will give Jane’s character the stone.

Liza Soberano, who was supposed to star in the Darna movie, was addressed by RR.
