Gilas Pilipinas poured their rage on India and came back to win its first FIBA Asia Cup, 101-59, in Indonesia in 2022.

After leading 51-33 at the half, the Philippines continued to pound in the third quarter, limiting India to only 10 points against their 31-point outburst to conclude the period at 82-43.

The nationals established dominance over the Indians after winning their games in the 2022 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers, with its previous game concluding 79-63.

The Philippines will return to action on Sunday when they face New Zealand to complete the group round.
