Carla Abellana’s annulment attempt to break her marriage with Tom Rodriguez will come to pass. The Kapuso star is already compiling all the documentation needed to petition for the annulment and has widely circulated it. And the news became much more public when Tom shared an image related to the divorce on Instagram.

“Si Carla Abellana pala nagpapahanda na ng dokumento ng annulment.

Award-winning entertainment columnist and radio-TV host stated, “At tayo nga ay binigla. Pagka-kasal, tatlong buwan pa lang naghiwalay na. Di ba nakakalula yun, a.”

Carla, he noted, is already constructing her personal home while waiting for the buyer of her Pasig condo apartment.

Tom and Carla have yet to issue a formal announcement on their divorce. Only Rey PJ Abellana’s father, Rey PJ Abellana, verified this.

In her conversation with PJ, Nanay Cristy also highlighted Tom’s one-night affair, which forced her and Carla to separate.

“Nay, honestly speaking, hindi po natin maku-consider na third party, e, ang sitwasyon. Kasi po, ang pangyayari ay one-night stand, e. So, hindi natin kinu-consider yun na third party.

“Inaamin ko na lang, bilang ako lalaki ako, ako, way back, nangyayari din po ‘yan sa akin. E, medyo normal na ‘yan sa buhay ng mga lalaki.

“E, nangyari sa tukso ay hindi po mortal sin. Para sa akin, you know, bilang isang tao, natural na tao lang po ang nangyayari sa mga ganyang bagay, natural sa buhay ‘yan, e, di po ba?” veteran actor stated.

“Si Tom naman was already able to explain kay Carla na wala naman pong katotohanan ito at naiwasan naman din niya na mangyari yun.

“So, wala pong natuloy na one-night stand according to Tom’s side naman.

She clarifies, “So, yun po yung scenario ng issue na one-night stand. Napa-shortcut lang po, napa-abrupt lang po pagkasabi ko kay Nanay Cristy na, you know, na napag-isipan ng masama.”

Nanay added that Carla was so was upset with him because of the one-night affair. “She was mad. She was questioning me why I came up that way.”
