Not everyone was pleased with the confession of Megastar Sharon Cuneta’s and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan’s daughter, who is a proud member of the LGBTQIA community.

Many people respect Miel’s bravery and genuineness, including his family and even celebrities, yet some continue to deny and insult her.

She also understands that not everyone will understand her decision to come out as a lesbian, so she accepts whatever others say.

Miel, on the other hand, did not appear to be able to avoid responding to certain netizens who claimed that her gender identity declaration was “false news.”

Frankie uploaded a screenshot of Miel’s response to the aforementioned netizen on Twitter yesterday, June 15, along with a plea to all those who acted when the brother was picked up on social media.

Frankie stated, “Pls give yellie some love today if u can! there are some homophobes in her inbox and mentions upset abt her pride post.”

Frankie’s screenshot reveals Miel’s answer to the netizen who said, “Bash me, honestly upon reading this, my heart breaks. (broken heart emoji). Sana fake news lang ito. But I commend you @mielpangilinan for being so brave to come this early.”

Miel said,

“This early?? Lmaoo (laughing my ass off obviously). I’m so sorry your heart is broken but unfortunately it’s true, I am queer.

Miel Pangilinan came out as queer and got family's supportive messages

“I’m so sorry you think that news like this is heartbreaking to you, but it isn’t to me. I am so sorry that the news of my coming out is so painful for your heart to bear,”

Miel added in a message to the said netizen, saying that his reaction to his confession as a “queer” was insulting.

“The fact that you’re wishing that my COMING OUT is fake news is insanely offensive to me.

“No amount of your commendation of my bravery will cancel out the fact that you wish I wasn’t actually queer—which doesn’t change anything, anyway.

“Your approval whether I have it or not literally does not matter to me,” Miel added.

“I genuinely hope that you grow to be a more accepting person, and if you don’t, you have no place in my comments section or any of the groups I’m a member of,” Sharon and Kiko’s son said. “

On Tuesday, June 14, Miel revealed her actual gender to the entire globe in accordance with Pride Month.
