The actress discussed the stress she experiences while portraying Sen. Imee Marcos in the forthcoming film, Maid in Malacañang.
As a participant on the reality TV series StarStruck on the GMA Network, she began her career in show business.
She then found work in acting. Her big break came from her first movie, “No Other Woman,” which starred Anne Curtis and Derek Ramsay.
In the meanwhile, Cristine Reyes discussed portraying Sen. Imee Marcos in the forthcoming film “Maid in Malacañang”.
She admitted that playing Imee has a great deal of pressure during a previous zoom media conference for the film directed by Darryl Yap.
“Ang laki ng pressure parang ito ‘yung project ko na mabigat. Ang bigat ng bitbit ko at nu’ng binasa ko ‘yung script talagang minamadali ko ‘yung handler ko, ‘please, please ibigay n’yo na ang script sa akin kasi hindi biro ‘tong gagawin ko eh, Cristine remarked.
Along with Cristine Reyes, the cast of Maid in Malacañang also includes Cesar Montano as previous president Ferdinand Marcos Sr., Diego Loyzaga as successor Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., Ella Cruz as Irene Marcos, and Ruffa Gutierrez as Imelda Romualdez Marcos.
Elizabeth Oropesa as Yaya Lucy, Beverly Salviejo as Yaya Biday, and Karla Estrada as Yaya Santa will be presented as the Marcos family’s housekeepers.
