Worth P8.6 million of marijuana plants are confiscated by the PDEA-BARMM agents and officials on Sulu Provincial Office The suspected propagators of marijuana plants were first named simply as “Jabs” and “Aksan,” according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. On Sunday, officials uprooted more than 10,000 marijuana plants in Kalingalan Caluang, Sulu, but still the people who were tending the plants eventually escaped.

The PDEA-marijuana BARMM’s ( Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao) uprooting operation in Barangay Masjid Bayle was supported by the Sulu provincial police, forces of the Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in the province, and the Philippine Navy’s 8th Marine Battalion.

The confiscated items are now in the custody of the PDEA-BARMM officials and the allegations is currently under investigation.
