300 Daycare Facilities in Japan are Closed Due to the Rampant Virus

The health ministry announced 24th of Monday 2022 that a record 327 daycare facilities in Japan had been temporarily shut down due to the coronavirus outbreak

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare, the number of such facilities suspending services as of last Thursday January 20, 2022 with exception of privately operated or locally licensed ones, increased fourfold in a week along with the massive increase in COVID-19 cases and far exceeded the previous high of 185 in September.

The number of confirmed daily coronavirus cases in Japan passed 50,000 on Saturday as a result of the spread of the highly transmissible Omicron form, setting a new record for the fifth day in a row. Japan are still preparing for the impossible increase of the existing virus.
