Car chase incident involving the actor Jake Cuenca took place at Barangay Barangka Ibaba, Mandaluyong on Saturday evening, October 9, 2021.

According to police report, the 33-year-old allegedly hit the police vehicle while the cops were in the middle of the follow up buy-bust operation. Police Gen. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar, chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on the video report attached here in this page, stated that “May isang motorista na imbes na humingi ng paumanhin at panagutan ang kanyang pagkakamali ay gumawa ng eksenang pang-teleserye at pampelikula,” Eleazar said.

“Sa iyong ginawa, titiyakin ko na mananagot ka sa pambabastos mo hindi lang sa mga pulis kundi sa batas, at sa kawalan mo ng disiplina sa sarili,” he added

During the incident, a certain Maritinito, delivery rider was hit by stray bullet but is now recovering in the hospital. Eleazar promised to shoulder all medical expenses and extending financial assistance while Maritinito and his family.
