Jollibee Released a Statement over “Fried Towel” not Chicken

Angelique Perez viral Facebook posts over regarding the “fried towel” she received. The Jollibee Foods Corporation has issued an official statement regarding a customer’s viral post in which the “fried towel” allegedly replaced the “fried chicken” they ordered at Jollibee.

On Jollibee’s Facebook page, they said they immediately investigated the incident that allegedly took place at their franchised store in Bonifacio Global City.

Jollibee says its Bonifacio Stop Over branch will close for three days after a customer was allegedly served ‘fried towel’ instead of fried chicken. It says the branch will review its compliance with procedures.

“It is unfortunate that deviation’s from Jollibee’s stantard food preparation procedure occurred on the part of a certain personnel of the store.”

“We at Jollibee are committed to take the necessary steps to maintain the trust and loyalty that our customers have given us thoughout the years,” they added.
