Victor Wood passes away at 75 Due to COVID-19

Jukebox King Victor Wood has passed away. Victor passed away at New Era General Hospital, Quezon City, this Friday morning, April 23, 2021. Complications with COVID-19 caused the demise of the singer-actor who rocked his singing and acting career in the ’70s.

According to his wife, Nerissa, he was brought to the hospital after complaining of breathing difficulties. “Bumaba ang oxygen level niya last night,” Victor’s wife said.

“Mr. Lonely,” “I’m Sorry My Love,” “In Despair,” “Wooden Heart” are some of the songs Victor made famous during his time.

Eagle Broadcasting Corporation was one of the first to sympathize with Victor’s orphans through an official statement on Net25’s Facebook page.

His funeral arrangements are in the process of being finalized under the supervision of the Iglesia ni Cristo.
