A man was shocked to find the blade of a knife left buried in his chest, based on the results of his x-ray on Tuesday at a hospital in Agusan del Sur.
Kent Ryan Tomao, 25, is worried that the knife has been buried in his body for 14 months without knowing how long it is.
Tomao had an X-ray as a requirement in his job application. “Sabi ng doktor, dapat makuha na agad kasi malapit yung kutsilyo sa lungs, delikado po, he said to the reporters.
In January last year, Tomao was stabbed by a group of teenagers in North Cotabato. When he was taken to a hospital, the doctor and nurse allegedly did not even test him, and he just stitched up his wound.
“Wala akong na x-ray. Tinahi lang nila diretso kasi sabi ng doktor, mababa lang naman daw yung sugat,” Tomao said. Sometimes, Tomao’s wound still hurts but he just ignores it.
“Sana ayusin nila ang pag-alaga sa kanilang mga pasyente kasi binabayaran sila nang maayos ng gobyerno. Pantay-pantay sana ang trato,” he said to the reporter.
