A Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 490 km East Southeast of Davao City. Tail-end of Frontal System (Shear line) affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon. Northeast Monsoon affecting the rest of Luzon.

Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the trough of LPA/Tail-end of Frontal System. Light to moderate winds from east to northeast with slight to moderate seas.

Moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorms are affecting over Cebu (Alcantara, Ronda, Pinamungahan, Toledo City, Balamban, Barili, Aloguinsan, Dumanjug); NegrosOccidental (Sagay City, Escalante City, Toboso, Calatrava, San Carlos City) which may persist 1 to 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

The city of San Carlos is currently on red alert status after flooding in some areas following the rain starting at 5 pm today, Saturday.

In an interview with Aksyon Radyo Bacolod, Mayor Rene Gustilo stated that the areas affected by Medina are Barangay Rizal, and Barangay 1.

According to Gustilo, there are creeks where the water flows.
According to the Mayor, they view that mountain rains are the cause of rising water in some areas.

Some people have already been evacuated and temporarily housed in public schools or covered courts.

The rescue operation of the San Carlos CDRRMO will continue today.
According to Aksyon Radyo Correspondent Stephen Presquito, there is an area in Barangay 1 where the water has reached the chest.
