Mayor Franklin Odsey of Bontoc, Mountain Province tested positive for COVID-19. A number of elected officials and employees of the Municipal Local Government Unit (MLGU) are also in isolation pending their swab test results.

The Municipal Mayor and Vice Mayor both seek the cooperation of everyone in following the standard health protocols and unite to put an end to the spread of COVID-19 in the municipality.

Recently, “Bontoc Vice Mayor Eusebio Kabluyen tests positive of COVID-19.”

This, after the Bontoc Municipal Health Office informed him of the results of his RT-PCR test result which came out to be positive.

Vice Mayor Kabluyen made public his swab result and appealed to all those whom he came in contact with for the past 14 days to get in touch the Bontoc Municipal Health Office at 0950-043-3003 to give way for efficient contact tracing and for them to immediately isolate themselves for the safety of their families.

He also added on his statement that all his contacts to immediately call their respective Barangay Health Units should they experience any symptom related to COVID-19.
