LOOK: Evacuation is ongoing in the cities of Talisay, Silay, and Victorias in Negros Occidental, following heavy downpour since Friday morning.

 At 10:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area, now embedded along the Tail-End of a Frontal System (Shear Line), was estimated based on all available data at 70 km North Northwest of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte or 60 km East Northeast of Maasin City, Southern Leyte (10.4°N, 125.3°E).

According to PAGASA report, ” PAGASA Regional Services Divisions will issue local thunderstorm/rainfall advisories and heavy rainfall warnings in their respective areas of responsibility while the Hydrometeorology Division and River Basin Flood Forecasting and Warning Centers will issue general flood advisories and river basin flood advisories/bulletins as appropriate. Unless an intermediate advisory is released, the next weather advisory will be issued at 11:00 AM tomorrow. “
