Why it is Raining in the Visayas? PAGASA Weather Updates on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. Tail-end of Frontal System (Shear Line) affecting the eastern sections of Visayas and Southern Luzon. Northeast Monsoon affecting the rest of Luzon.

According to PAGASA, “The effect of the Tail-End of a Frontal System (Shear Line) has weakend but will continue to bring scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas. The Easterlies will also bring scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Caraga and Davao Region. Meanwhile, the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and Quezon. PAGASA Regional Services Divisions may issue local Thunderstorm or Rainfall Advisories as appropriate.”

There is no Tropical Cyclone Advisory Issued by PAGASA.

In Palawan, Central Visayas, and the rest of Mindanao, Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by Localized Thunderstorms / Easterlies.
