According to PAGASA DOST, “The Low Pressure Area (LPA) east of Mindanao developed into Tropical Depression at 8:00 AM today. At 10:00 AM today, it was estimated based on all available data at 2,510 km East of Mindanao (6.2°N,148.5°E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h and gustiness of up to 70 km/h. It is moving west-northwestward at 15 km/h.”
