Here is the list of new OPM song entries in this year from the country’s biggest songwriting competition, Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs 2020.

According to ABS-CBN Music Creative Director Jonathan Manalo and ABS-CBN Music Head Roxy Liquigan, this year has the most number of entries where receive with 4,000 songs has been submitted, however, only 12 songs were chosen. Truly a long and difficult process of choosing the best songs for this year’s competition.

The songs will be interpreted by Kapamilya stars and the recorded version will be released soon accordingly. To recall, last years winner is a song written by Dan Tañedo entitled, “Mabagal” which performed by  Daniel Padilla, and Moira Dela Torre.

Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs is one of the biggest songwriting competition. The competition is now on its 11th year of celebrating original Pinoy music and talent where they can submit songs of any genre.

Some of the songs that became a hit are Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako sang by KZ Tandingan written by Edwin Marollano, Nasa ‘Yo Na Ang Lahat by Daniel Padilla written by Jungee Marcelo, and Titibo-tibo by Moira Dela Torre words and music from Libertine Amistoso.
