Tropical Storm “DINDO” was estimated based on all available data at 440 km East Northeast of Basco, Batanes (22.1 °N, 125.8 °E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 80 km/h. It is moving West-northwestward at 20 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon.

It is likely to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Monday morning. DINDO will remain far from the Philippine landmass throughout the forecast period.

FORECAST: Occasional rains will be experienced over the Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, and Marinduque. Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms are expected over Northern Samar. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest to South will prevail with moderate to rough seas.
