Donald Trump issued executive order on Thursday to ban the social media app TikTok from operating in the US if they’re not sold by their Chinese-owned companies.
TikTok is a social media application owned by the ByteDance in Beijing, China. This deals with video-sharing social networking services founded since 2012 by Zhang Yiming. Users all over the world will be able to create short music, videos, record dances, lip-sync and make comedy-talent based video for 3-15 seconds and also users are allowed to loop videos up to 3-60 seconds.
However, President Donald Trump issued executive order to prohibit using TikTok app in the US due to the alleges that claims by the experts and analysts that TikTok automatically captures information of users without knowing it that includes location data and browsing and search histories in every gadget using theTikTok application. Experts believed that this allows Chinese Communists Party to access to Americans’ and personal proprietary information leading the Chinese digital experts to track the locations of Federal employees and contractors, build dossiers of personal information to take advantage for blackmail and for possible conduct of corporate espionage.
