The World’s oldest living person in the world is Lola Francisca Susano and now aging 122-year-old!

Lola Francisca is originally from Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental but is currently living now in the Puerto Princesa Palawan born on September 11, 1897, and may be just be the world’s oldest living person.

Lola Francisca’s age now, had spans the age of the late Philippine President Emilio Aguinaldo, who died at the age of 94-years-old, based on the report from GMA News.

Marlene Montes, the granddaughter of Lola Francisca shared that Lola Iska take a lot of care of her health. Credits to her longevity to her positive attitude, a health diet, and abstaining from alcohol. Lola Iska also tries to do a little basic stretching despite her advanced age.

Her daughter is also reportedly still alive at the claimed age of 104.

In terms of diet, she eats her meals on time and likes vegetables such as squash, eggplant, okra, and gabi. She also drinks honey.

According to her granddaughter, “Nag-play siya ng harmonica para sa kanyang lung exercise every morning. Then kung minsan sinasabihan ko siya na magkanta kaming dalawa kasi palagi ‘yang kumakanta.”

And due to the coronavirus pandemic, Marlene said that their family takes precautions to make sure Lola Iska is safe.

Before kami magpunta dun sa bahay ni Lola naliligo muna kami, naglalagay kami ng alcohol before kami mag-enter sa bahay ni Lola,” she said.

The Gerontology Research Group is still verifying Lola Iska’s documents with the help of the government before she can be declared by the Guinness World Records as the oldest living person.
