Former Star Magic artist Jon Lucas has been confined to the New Era General Hospital (NEGH). He stayed in the hospital for three days after taking the COVID-19 rapid test.
On the Facebook page of Clinica de Beleza Skin Care & Slimming Center, “Hi everyone! As you all know Jon Lucas is part of Our Clinica De Beleza Family, and as ABS-CBN released a statement most of you been wondering if he have visited our clinic/s so far. We would like to inform you that he have never been in our clinic since Entire Luzon was placed under ECQ last March 16. He had rapid test done June 22 which indicated a positive result (but recovered) So he was advised to do swab test and stayed at New Era General Hospital for 3 days until swab test results were released NEGATIVE and we are so happy to hear the good news! Currently Jon Lucas is at home already spending time with his family. Thanks for all who prayed and supported him. We love you Jon Lucas!”
According to Jon Lucas social media posts, “Na-confine sa New Era General Hospital (NEGH) ang dating Star Magic artist na si Jon Lucas. Tatlong araw siyang namalagi sa ospital pagkatapos niyang mag-positibo sa COVID-19 rapid test. Three days ako nag-stay sa NEGH. Kasi doon sa rapid test ko nag-positive ako.”
“Opo, alam naman natin po at ng karamihan na hindi siya accurate para ma-detect yung virus. Minsan daw kahit negative ka pwede kang mag-positive. Minsan naman daw positive ka pero negative ang lumalabas. Ang lumabas don sa result ko ‘29 days onwards recovery.’ Parang papagaling na yung infection sa katawan ko. Meaning, parang dumaan lang siya,” he added.
The actor also admitted that he felt some symptoms of COVID-19.
“Aaminin, ko may mga times na inuubo ubo ako at nilalagnat. Pero dahil nga marami rin tayo ganap kahit nasa bahay lang iniisip ko na lang na baka pagod lang ako. Tsaka siyempre, nawawala-wala po agad dahil nga tayo ay may gabi gabing pagpapanata sa Panginoong Diyos.
“Ayun hanggang nung Lunes (June 22) nag-patest na ako sa NEGH yun nga ang lumabas, may past infection ako. Kaya na-admit ako sa NEGH hanggang sa dumating yung result ng swab test ko. (Mas kayang ma-detect ng swab test si COVID). 2-3 days bago lumabas yung resulta,” he stated.
