8 New COVID-19 Cases in Occidental Negros Confirmed June 20, 2020

Provincial Incident Management Team Provincial IATF confirmed 8 new cases of COVID-19 in Negros Occidental. As of June 19, 2020, the following are recent records:

  • 22yo male Escalante, LSI from Cebu, LGU facility quarantined. Asymptomatic 
  • 36yo female, Cadiz, LSI from Cebu, LGU facility quarantined. Asymptomatic 
  • 36yo Male, San Carlos, LSI from Cebu, Home quarantined. Asymptomatic 
  • 45yo female, OFW, Hotel quarantined, asymptomatic 
  • 10yo male Moisea Padilla, LSI from Manila, LGU facility quarantined, asymptomatic 
  • 43yo male, Silay, LSI from Cebu, Home quarantined. Asymptomatic 
  • 32yo female, OFW, Hotel quarantined. Asymptomatic 
  • 38yo female, Binalbagan, OFW, hotel quarantined, asymptomatic 

Yesterday, DOH released the statement “As of 4 PM today, June 19, 2020, the Department of Health reports the total number of COVID-19 cases at 28,459. In addition to the 460 fresh cases, 201 late cases were also reported today. Today’s fresh cases are based on the daily accomplishment reports submitted by only 47 out of 59 current operational labs. DOH likewise announces 288 recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 7,378.
