The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) recorded a 4.6 earthquake magnitude hits La Carlota City (Negros Occidental).

The time of impact is around 01:01:00 AM on Monday morning, June 22, 2020.

According to the Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (DOST-PHIVOLCS), the epicenter of the magnitude 4.6 was recorded at 10.40°N, 123.04°E – 012 km S 79° E recorded in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.

DOST-PHIVOLCS identifies the tectonic origin of the earthquake.

There are no casualties that have been damage and no aftershock expected.
