Many people have been enjoying their free time at home by watching movies or series. For the past months, the BL (Boys’ Love) series called “2gether” became popular among teenagers in the Philippines.

Thailand features several Boys’ Love series unlike here in the Philippines. Through the online streaming sites, Thailand’s unique love stories, specifically the BL series, has now reached our country, Philippines. Although the plot may not be acceptable to everyone, there are some people who enjoys it as much.

Dreamscape Entertainment announced that “2gether” will now be available on the Kapamilya Channel and iWant.

The story revolves around a young man named Tine. Tine is a very handsome student and cheerleader in college, while Sarawat is one of the campus’ most popular guys and is also in the soccer and music club. When Tine is chased by Green, his suitor, who he does not reciprocate feelings for — he ends up begging Sarawat to fake date with him in order to chase Green away. Somehow, just like the tale as old as time goes — pretend somehow starts to turn into reality. However, before a “happily ever after” there is the process of falling in love, and the slow realisation that somehow they aren’t pretending anymore. Somehow, they do not want to.

Here are some of the comments and reactions of the netizens:

Hi Dreamscape please don’t dubbed it just put a subtitles it will be cringe if someone dub it :))

mixed feelings pa din ako about dito.. happy and at the same time anxious for BW… medyo taboo pa kasi yang mga ganyang tema dto sa Pinas… baka ibash nila ang BW.. wag naman sana

just hoping for no judgments coming from homophobic people as this kind of series is new to filos. anyways, it’s alright to dub it, but please not the singing parts & find a voice that suits well to the characters. AND PLS DON’T CUT ANY SCENE FROM IT.

To all those who say wag i-dub, mag youtube na lang po kayo. Doon, di naka-dubbed. Subtitles, instead. The show will be more appealing to the Filipino audience of it’s dunned in Tagalog. It will be refreshing to hear Sarawat and Tine speaking in our language

if their names aren’t sarawat and tine imma head out…..
