Many netizens were disgusted by the ‘VinCentiments’ writer-director, as his tweets about minors went viral. Darryl has tweeted saying, “may crush ako, bata :),” “Masarap Ang Bata,” and “mga ilang mababait na bata kaya ang makakaranas ng lambing ko :)”

According to the netizens, he admitted that he once had a long term relationship, for 7 years, with a minor. He was once locked behind bars back in 2013 for “condoning a minor” and “seduction with consent.”

Darryl Yap is the man behind the ‘VinCentiments’ Facebook page consisting short films. He was the director of the “Jowable” movie.

Darryl Yap took actions regarding with the issue and he is collecting proofs and evidence for those who kept calling him “pedophile.”

“Mula sa pag-screenshot ng mga tweets ko mula sa iba’t-ibang thread at dates, na binigyan nila ng malalaswang pakahulugan hanggang sa pag-e-edit na mismo ng mga tweets na hindi naman galing sa akin hanggang sa pagsasabi na ako raw ay umamin na isa akong pedophile at proud pa ako rito — ngayon, ikinokonekta na sa mga article na wala akong kinalaman,”

He stated that he has never abused children and that he is not a pedophile. 

“Matagal ko nang dinepensahan ang aking sarili; ngunit bumubuo sila ng bagong issue upang magmukhang totoo. I am not a pedophile, I never abused children, I never admitted such and being tagged as one is very harmful not only to me but to the concerned society,” He explained.
