DOH Reports 163 new cases of COVID-19, total 13, 597 as of May 22, 2020

You can now watch the livestream video of DOH as stated, “The Department of Health (DOH) provides the latest information on the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) situation in the country, including the actions undertaken by the department in addressing the pandemic, through a ‘Virtual Presser’ on May 22, 2020.”

According to the DOH reports, as of 4 PM today, May 22, 2020, the Department of Health reports 163 new cases (PH13435-PH13597) of COVID-19. NCR with an additional 91 new cases, Region 7 with 56 additional new cases, and 16 new cases from different Regions. The total number of cases in the country is now at 13, 597. DOH also announces 92 new recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 3,092.

The Government advised the public to cooperate and do not be hard-headed because you are not helping but an additional problem, please stay on your respective houses and maintain a healthy body to fight the disease.

Now the cure or antibody is not yet discovered and experts predict this will be available the next year 2021, which is alarming.

In Global tally, 5,106,686 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, 1,951,459 have been recovered from the deadly disease, and 333,001 deaths. (As of May 22, 2020)
