DOH Recorded 258 new cases of COVID-19, total 14,035 as of May 24, 2020

As of 4PM today, May 24, 2020, the Department of Health reports 258 new cases (PH13778-PH14035) of COVID-19. NCR with an additional 195 new cases, 66 new cases from different Regions and 12 for Repatriate. The total number of cases in the country is now at 14,035. DOH also announces 72 new recoveries. This brings the total number of recoveries to 3,249. 

The Department of Health (DOH) provides the latest information on the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) situation in the country, including the actions undertaken by the department in addressing the pandemic, through a ‘Virtual Presser’ on May 24, 2020.” 

The Government advised the public to cooperate and do not be hard-headed because you are not helping but an additional problem, please stay on your respective houses and maintain a healthy body to fight the disease. 

Now the cure or antibody is not yet discovered and experts predict this will be available the next year 2021, which is alarming.
