Social Amelioration Programs (SAP) is the government program aims to give financial support to the people who are categorized as poorest of the poor affected by Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ). Since most of the workplaces are being closed, there is no way that people could earn enough money for the time being.

An aeta from San Enrique town located in Iloilo City named Helen Segura, sets on record as good example to others who returned the cash aid she received from the Social Amelioration Program which is amounting to Php 6,000 from the government.

She honestly returned the money in the since that she is already received government financial support as a member of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or (4Ps). Being a member of 4Ps, you can not avail the social amelioration program from the government.
