November 2019 Bar Exam Results (Surname H-I-J-K) List of Passers

The November 2019 Philippine Bar Exam results will be released online after the special en banc session expected in April-May 2020. The Supreme Court Public Information Office (PIO) releases the statistical data of November 2019 Bar Examinations stated that a total of 7,685 law graduates who completed the grueling tests on four Sundays of November 2019.

Latest Update of Supreme Court as of April 16, 2020, “Chief Justice Diosdado M. Peralta issues Administrative Circular No. 34-2020 addressed to all litigants, justices, judges and court personnel of the judiciary, and members of the Bar regarding the extension of Enhanced Community Quarantine over Luzon until 30 April 2020.”

Examination Coverage: The 2019 bar exam was headed by Committee Chairperson is SC Associate Justice Estela M. Perlas-Bernabe and the sixteen (16) examiners for all bar subjects. The two-examiner policy per subject was re-adopted “in order to promote operational efficiency in light of the notable increase in the number of admitted candidates in recent years.”

The examinable subjects are Political Law and Public International Law (15%), Labor and Social Legislation (10%), Civil Law (15%), Taxation (10%), Mercantile Law (15%), Criminal Law (10%), Remedial Law (20%) and Legal and Judicial Ethics (5%).

The type of examination given by the administration is a full essay from which the examinees are required to answer in full essay writings within the scope of one (1) month duration exam time. The Bar Exam is considered the hardest examination ever taken in the country.

As of April 15, 2020, SC will conduct a virtual special en banc session on Friday, April 17, first time in history due to enhanced community quarantine imposed in Luzon. However, there’s no information yet whether they will tackle the release of the 2019 Bar Exam results.
