April 6, 2020, DOH Recorded 3,660 COVID-19 Cases in the Philippines

DOH – The Department of Health confirmed 414 new cases of COVID-19 or coronavirus in the Philippines. The total number of cases in the country is now at 3,660. DOH also reports 9 additional recoveries which bring the total number of recoveries to 73. And 11 new deaths due to coronavirus in the Philippines. Overall total, 3, 660 confirmed cases, 73 recoveries, and 163 deaths as of April 6, 2020. 

Coronavirus disease was first recorded in China where it prompted authorities to lock down Wuhan due to its outbreak. In the Philippines, local government units are now decided to enforce an enhanced community quarantine. 

Everyone is advised to stay at home to curb the spread of the disease and some selected people in one family can go out to buy some foods and needs in 14th-day lockdown.  

Government officials have not yet to decide whether to extend the Central lockdown – which is set to expire on April 12 – implemented to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
