Family of a 69 year-old COVID-19 patient who died from the disease, was tested negative. However, their neighbor is tested positive. According to the interview with Vice Mayor Elcid Familiaran with the Radyo Bandera, the family of the deceased patient came out negative through the Rapid Test.

Their area is still under lockdown while the city government provides for the people’s needs. After the rapid test, they are now waiting for the PCR test result which is currently in Iloilo City as it is recognized as the most reliable source.
